This new edition was written to update the material in the original Underwood book,
with new information, pictures and corrections. There was no internet or email when
the previous edition was compiled and that had necessitated many trips to record
repositories in Sydney and elsewhere by Liz.

The book has an extensive index, an improved layout along with much BDM
information and property subdivisions. The three Underwood brothers are still
covered extensively, along with side trips to look at the various inter-related families.

There have now been Underwood family reunions in Ashfield (1991); Randwick
(2011); St George (2018) and Quirindi (2023). In 2026 there will be a further one to
be held at Terrigal NSW which is still in the planning stages. It will be on the
weekend of the 28 - 29 March. Further information about this and anything else can
